AxAir 16 Litre Dehumidifier - Simple To Use with a Rotary Humidistat Ideal for around the house

The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this dehumidifier in bedrooms, living rooms or any room where humidity exceeds 60%. The Narciso 16 dehumidifier has the capacity to remove up to 16 litres of moisture in 24 hours and has a 3.5 litre water tank. It has an automatic shut off when the tank is full and a warning light will indicate when the tank needs to be emptied; alternatively the dehumidifier can be used with continuous drainage (hose not supplied). When operating in cool conditions, <12°C, moisture condenses on the refrigerated coils of dehumidifiers and turns to ice. However, the Narciso 16 has an automatic defrost mode which defrosts the coils when required. The dehumidifier does this by turning the compressor off; the fans however will continue to run drawing ambient air over the coils, thus melting any built up ice. This allows the dehumidifier to operate at temperatures as low as 5°C. Ensuring adequate air movement improves effectiveness of the dehumidifier, for this we recommend the use of portable fans particularly for confined spaces e.g. cellars and small rooms.
