The Côte de Beaune is home to Louis Jadot; it's where they started, and thus enjoy unrivalled access to some of the top vineyards. Carefully selected parcels are vinified in traditional open-top fermenters and then matured in cellars in Beaune for at least 12 months. A wine with classic feminine style.

Very intense nose, with a nice mix of aroma of undergrowth, cranberries and candied plums on a background that stand spicy clove and cedar wood. The palate is powerful, well balanced, with a palate marked by soft tannins. A Bank puliéndose going over in the bottle. Pairing: Game, stews, sauces complex.

It unites an aromatic bouquet, full body and ample structure with generous fruit flavours and an unusual delicacy on the palate. This wine will certainly improve up to 10-15 years in good cellaring conditions.

The «Clos de Malte» is a 7 ha Monopole (Louis Jadot is the sole owner) The Santenay Clos de Malte is mainly planted with Pinot Noir with a small hectare of Chardonnay. An elegant wine, with colour, depth and delicate and complex aromas of red well-ripened fruits, of almonds and subtle earthy notes.
