Use time alert to help you hold your pace and distance alerts let you know when a set is over. Track your training To provide advanced training capabilties, your 920XT is compatible with sensors such as speed, heart rate monitor and cadence.It also displays power metrics when paired with ANT + Power metres including the vector line of single and dual sensing pedal options. If you use the heart rate monitor and power metre, Forerunner 920XT can derive your VO2 max estimate for cycling to help manage your fitness. The colour gauge shows how you rank compared to others in your age group. The Garmin connect segments also helps you measure up to others.Once your ride is done and uploaded in the Connect Segment you can check where you rank on the leader board. Perfect your running form The Garmin Forerunner 920XT helps you train for optimal running form when used with the HRM-Run Monitor. Pairing with the HRM allows the 920XT to report cadence, vertical oscillations and ground contact time. The 920XT also has audible alerts to guide your cadence and helps you stay synced with your targeted stride, without having to look at your watch. HRM based Feature When the Garmin Forerunner 920XT is used with the heart rate monitor it provides additional features that can dial in your recovery status and also assess our racing potential. The recovery check is a real time status of recovery within the first several minutes of an aerobic activity. After the activity the 920XT provides recovery time, indicating on how long before you can start another hard effort. When used with the HRM the 920XT also measures your VO2 for running and for cycling when used with the power metre. Based on that data it can predict your running times for several distances. Garmin Connect Use the free online community of Garmin Connect to save, plan and share your efforts. When an activity is completed using the multisport activity profile on your device, each leg and transition time is stored in one combined file for easy review and sharing. Individual tabs let you access data for each leg. Sync your data with Garmin Connect through multiple ways. The Garmin Connect mobile app allows you to transfer data on your smartphone using bluetooth. You can also set up one or more Wifi hotspots and when in range the Garmin Connext would automatically sync it. Or you can also sync with your desk top through a usb connection.
