Orange debuts wind-powered mobile charger for Festival

Orange has shown off a wind-powered charger that sits on top of your tent, converting gusts into juice for your mobile.
Working with Professor Shashank Priya at the University of Texas, Orange commissioned the research into a wind-powered portable phone charger that would take into account the unpredictable English climate to ensure a constant energy source.
Mobiles have become an integral part of kit for the modern music fan, but although this mini-turbine won't be on sale for a while, Glasto-goers will be able to take a gander at demo units at the Glastonbury festival.
And i thought that all you needed for a festival was a flower in your hair and a cheap bottle of cider...
